How do I schedule an appointment?
Call (703) 609-8717 or email Diefenbach.nd@gmail.com. Dr. Diefenbach offers a free 10 minute phone consultation to determine if a naturopathic physician is suitable for you.
How long is my appointment?
The initial consultation lasts 60-90 minutes. A follow-up appointment lasts 45 minutes.
Where do I go for a health consultation?
Dr. Diefenbach works at several locations in the Washington Metropolitan Area. Please call to determine which location is best for you.
What is involved at a first appointment?
Your first visit at Natural Integrative Healthcare will include a comprehensive review of your medical history. From the information presented, Dr. Diefenbach will develop a therapeutic plan to guide you to optimal health.
What should I bring with me to my first visit?

Please bring:

  • Your completed Intake form
  • Informed Consent form
  • Disclosure of Personal Information form
  • Any copies of recent chart notes, lab results, or imaging reports related to your complaint
  • All medications, vitamins, herbs, and supplements that you take on a regular basis. If you have more than 10 medications and/or supplements, please bring in a list including the product name, manufacturer (for supplements), and dosage.
What are the payment options?

Patricia Diefenbach, N.D. holds a degree of Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine (ND) and is a licensed, board certified Naturopathic Physician in the State of Connecticut and Washington D.C. Currently, Virginia does not offer licensing for naturopathic doctors, therefore Dr. Diefenbach is not able to accept insurance at this time.  Natural Integrative Healthcare currently accepts personal checks and credit card payment through Paypal.

What is the cancellation policy?

Your appointment time is reserved for you. For any visits (in-office or telephone visits) cancelled with less than 24 hours notice, you will be charged for the full amount of the scheduled visit fee.   Thank you for your understanding regarding this policy.

What is the email policy?
Please be advised that under HIPAA regulations email communication is not 100% reliable or secure, but know that Natural Integrative Healthcare will make every effort to protect your patient privacy. Email communication may be used to: clarify a current health management plan or inquire about symptoms relating to a current health management plan, ask routine or non-urgent medical question or to make an appointment. Natural Integrative Healthcare will strive to answer all emails with 48 hours.
Flexible Spending Plans & Health Savings Accounts?

Both Flex Spending Plans and Health Savings Accounts can be used to cover any visit fees not covered by your insurance. They will also usually cover most nutritional or herbal supplement recommendations.
