What to Expect at Your Initial Appointment
The first appointment with Dr. Diefenbach will be much longer than a conventional medical office visit. In addition, it is important to complete the extensive intake form before the visit.
Dr. Diefenbach will listen to your health journey, which may have many twists and turns and involve multiple conditions and diseases.
Naturopathic doctors recognize the importance of this process and you will have the time and space necessary to share the details of your story. Dr. Diefenbach is like a medical detective; she will help you to determine the root cause of your illness and guide you to find the best solution for your healthcare.

At Natural Integrative Healthcare, care is provided through thoughtful, unhurried one-on-one appointments.
Identifying and addressing the root causes of a health concern takes time, and appointment fees reflect the depth, preparation, and individualized attention involved.
Complimentary Discovery Call — 15 Minutes
Every prospective client begins with a complimentary 15-minute discovery call before scheduling an initial appointment. This conversation offers an opportunity to briefly discuss your primary health concerns, learn more about the practice, and determine whether our approach is a good fit for your needs and goals.
Initial Appointment — 90 Minutes — $550
Your initial appointment includes a comprehensive review of your health history, current concerns, symptoms, and relevant clinical data. You will leave with a personalized plan of care tailored to your individual needs.
For particularly complex cases, an additional 30 minutes may be required, bringing the appointment to two hours total. The fee for a two-hour initial appointment is $735.
Follow-Up Appointment — 60 or 30 Minutes
Your initial appointment is followed by a 60-minute follow-up appointment. This allows adequate time to review progress, discuss outcomes, and refine your plan of care.
After this visit, 30-minute follow-up appointments may be scheduled as appropriate for continued support and ongoing adjustments.

Payment and Insurance
Natural Integrative Healthcare is a cash-based practice and does not bill insurance directly. HSA and FSA funds may be used toward appointment fees.
If your insurance plan provides reimbursement for wellness visits, an itemized receipt can be provided upon request for you to submit independently. Please note that receipts do not include ICD-10 diagnosis codes.
Payment Policy
We do not participate with any insurance plans. However, we do accept Flex Spending and Health Savings Accounts for payment. To find out if your insurance company will reimburse you for our services, contact them directly or speak with your plan administrator.
Cancellation Policy
At Natural Integrative Healthcare, we kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. This applies to all appointments, whether in-office or by telephone. Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice will incur a charge for the full cost of the scheduled visit.
